opera Mini 7 backup bookmarks

Last post by simplest1: A while back (last year?) I tried using opera link to backup bookmarks from Mini v6.? on my phone onto my desktop, but it was v. flakey - can't remember why exactly - so I gave up and switched it off. Now I've upgraded to Mini v.7.0.3, and have extensive collection of bookmarks on my mobile I want to share with desktop.
When I log into opera on my pc I have remnants of the bookmarks from last time.
When I try to switch on Link in my mobile I go through login to Opera screen then get dire warning message:

You are switching Opera accounts. Another Opera user has synchronised his/her data with this device. If you continue all your bookmarks, speed dial entries and search engines will be erased from this device. Do you want to continue

"

1) I have only ever used this same Opera account on PC and phone, so I don't understand why it thinks I'm switching accounts.
2) How do I find which account it thinks I'm switching from?
3) Can I reset Opera Link on both PC and phone so it will start as clean synchronisation?
4) Any other way to export bookmarks from Phone?
