Information Retrieval After It Is Lost From Trash Bin

Perhaps I must have mentioned that I did archive'' the mail, if that could have saved it from the fate of rest of the inbox, but it is not there. I also tried other searches, it did not work. I know the sender, I will have to try them again. Thank you.
