And why should it ?, Opera Mini is not a video player, it is a server based mobile web browser that does not support flash. It usually passes the video url on to the native YouTube app when faced with a link to a video. Maybe you should try Opera Mobile instead, as you may have better luck with video's than with Opera Mini.
