Hello,
I'm trying to install Opera Mini on my iPhone. I've used Opera on my PC and my Wii, this is the first time I've tried to on my iPhone. I go to the App store, and Opera Mini is listed, with the "Free" button in the upper right - but it is greyed out and does not respond when I touch it. I don't understand why it is listed but it won't let me download it. Almost all the other internet browsers available in the App Store are like that, too - except for Google Chrome... its button is enabled. That strikes me as fishy.
I have an iPhone 4s with the latest version of iOS (it gets updated every time a new version comes out).
Anyone know why this is or how I can get Opera installed? I don't like Safari or Chrome and want an alternative.
Probably the reason is restrictions settings (e.g. parental control). On phone you can find this in settings -> general -> restrictions. Also check if on iTunes you have unchecked parental control, please remember that most browsers has age restriction 17+ due to content that can be watched. Some more details with screen shots you can find on e.g. http://www.askdavetaylor.com/buy_button_itunes_store_doesnt_work_grayed_out.html I hope this will resolve your problems, if not please contact me for further investigation.
