Opera Link synchronizes your bookmarks, it's not really a backup. So that if you have different computers, all your bookmarks will be the same. So if you delete a bookmark on one computer, it will sync to the latest, so if you go to another computer, that bookmark is also deleted. And if you add a bookmark, it's updated. Link syncs your bookmarks, it is not a restore or backup feature.
