Two features are currently on my mind: "Search in new tab" and "Twirl open" history.
"SEARCH IN NEW TAB"
I use Opera Mini for Android.
When you long-press on a page to select you have 4 options after you highlight :
1. Copy
2. Search
3. Search With
4. Go to address...
If you use either of the search commands then your search results will be displayed on the page you currently are, thereby dismissing that page. If you go back to the page you previously were then you will be dismissing your search results page.
To solve this problem I think a 5th option should be added: "SEARCH IN NEW TAB"
You might say: why not copy what you've selected, open a new tab and then do your search.
I might answer: That is 4 seconds too long.
Feature 2: "TWIRL OPEN" History
Sometimes the history can so long, you can even have up to 300 entries. Opera Mini arranges it in such a way that everything from last week and this week are on the same page.
To open a web page from last week whose address you've forgotten you'll have to scroll all the way down (that is not very convenient).
My suggestion is you arrange the History somewhat similar to the Bookmarks. You'll have something like this under History:
Today >
Yesterday >
Tuesday >
Monday >
Sunday >
Saturday >
Friday >
Older... >
So when I select "Monday >" it either twirl open or it opens just like "Advanced" under "SETTINGS" and reveals my browsing history for Monday.
