m.opera.com server gives slightly different versions of an Opera Mini release (e.g. 7.1.32052), depending on your phone's model. What you can try is to install some of the versions for different phones, maybe you'll find one that works with your keyboard. You can find 110 versions of Opera Mini 7.1.32052 for different phone models here (note: if the installation from the jar or jad file fails to even initiate - change the download link from https to http).
