Well dirgas, i was really hoping u woulda been able2 provide some/any links 2 what u said about om6 issue "from beginning"...
It remain a complete & total mystery...either no one has a clue or no one cares to share pertinent related info on ???
In any event, i tend to believe the guy who suggested the app file somehow bcame corrupted. So b4 giving up & moving on to newest ver, i still wanted to at least try re-installing what may/may not be the same version, but so far, all attempts to obtain a usuble jad/jar set has been futile. I will retry a diff method of dwnld from ucb, that might correct the "284 bytes" error. I also tried a supposed mod of 7.1 w/a screenshotter (which would be EXTREMELY useful esp w/some of the issues ive encountered), but only the jar was offered (i need jad & jar), so i have have "jadmaker" which i put on lappy (no internet) & was able this time to dwnld the full sz jar file, but for unknow reason jadmaker fails to make jad. There's some sort of "archived exception" error. The file doesnt appear zipped, but properties state "archive". So i cant seem to get a possible original 6 installed (to see if old data saved), nor this modded 7.1. Jeeezzz.
