I downloaded and tried these versions:

The worst thing is that also UCBrowser or Bolt Browser inexplicably failed installing completely and working on my phone.
Conclusion: I'll have to keep Opera Mini 4.4 with:
:down::down::down::down::down::down::down::down:
I tried the test again (many times) just now (while Opera Mini 5.1+ versions are not working correctly) and the result is what I think you'd expect, so I guess there's no hardware problem:
I don't know why these test results are different from the ones I got and reported in my previous posts, but that's it.
Final consolation: They're all freeware applications.
Thank you everybody for having tried to help me

I downloaded and tried these versions:
- Opera Mini 7.1: the right softkey problem described in my posts is present
- Opera Mini 7.0: the same as above
- Opera Mini 6.5: the same as above
- Opera Mini 6.1: the same as above
- Opera Mini 6.0: the same as above
- Opera Mini 5.1: "half" problem: sometimes the right softkey works perfectly, but more often the first time I press it nothing happens and if I then press any other key (ex.: "left arrow" key) the function is executed (ex: go back to the previous page, cancel, exit, delete, etc.). The real problem is that this version is unstable on my phone, because it often stops working or crashes without apparent reasons.
- 4.4: NO problems with the right softkey and NO crashes; only a problem with Opera Link (see below).

Conclusion: I'll have to keep Opera Mini 4.4 with:
- the Opera Link problem ("Opera Mini 4.4: speed dials and history are always empty if Opera Link is active")
- the impossibility of watching videos
- the impossibility of storing more than one username/password couple in login webpages (ex.: my webmail login page) to avoid re-entering them each time I want to view a different e-mail account.

It's a hardware problem with your phone. Check your keyboard module for broken or shorted lines.
PS. 4.x does not react to RELEASED, only PRESSED.
