wellwisher...ok. i was gonna ask ask about jad but u say works same for it also. Cool. But i have a question (just reading this now/havent tried above yet). Curious as to ur advice to go w/6.5 (as opposed to the orig 6.0 that i had). I wonder if that means that any of 6.0/6.1/6.5 could be used & STILL be able to effect the data recovery deal (if that even works?) & if so, why you chose 6.5, as opposed to 6 or 6.1? It sounds like there may b some important reason otherwise why advise?
I'll prolly wait 2 hear ur reply to that question b4 i proceed w/ur instructs, but it SOUNDS like a great way to accomplish this task! I sure hope it works, cuz if so, then (since i no longer hav net enabled pc) i wud be able to also use technique for some other apps! ...that is, if the app source provides jad/jar sets, which unfortunately, i dont think is usually so. If they gave jar only, then jads can be made, but too much of a headache to accomplish manually using this phone. I did download 2 jadmaker executeables to sd & transferred to lappy but when i try to create jad just get error. Subsequently, i think i discovered reasson is corrupt jad & jars dwnloaded via uc browser (they download but are all 284 byte crap?). Do u or anyone know anything about that issue w/downloading junk jads & jars from uc and/or possib solution?
also curious about....is there any reason why u couldnt go to the jad/jar via the link i gave, download, then zip, then post (technically speaking)?
