I dont think its a matter of me not getting the point. Your orig post title was clear: how to open, move, copy saved pages. The text of the post was not clear at all, to me & in fact seemed to go all over the road, so i covered the important basic need-to-knows, re: saved pages, as well as some of the less related terms you had posted about, in my initial reply. You then said i didnt understand you..
Now, youve reported that the problem was you were using a diff browser version. I covered that clearly, in my answer. You had to know you downloaded & installed & were using a whole new (looking & functioning) version, so my assumption would be that you didnt know about the "device, platform, browser version & card folder" interdependency, of using saved pgs. I covered that initially, so i must have understood.
The part about "moving & copying" that you asked about...not sure what you meant? You CAN move them, (to a diff folder) but then you have to reset & point to correctly. You can also copy, like a text file & save a backup (pretty sure).
Glad you have your saved pages feature working again.
p.s. I should add that when upgrading browser versions within the same main number, i.e., "6.0, 6.1, 6.5 or 7.0, 7.1, that SOMETIMES the saved pgs might be transferred (but many have reported it didnt). It did for me when i went from 7.0 to 7.1 & it MAY also save some older ones w/diff numbers, like 15 instead of 16, but those must then be updated via the browser dialog box choice, (rather than manually, by text edit).
p.p.s. I did not say they (saved pgs) are saved in server. I specifically said they were saved on card. I said bookmrks & speedials were saved in server. I spoke to those elements cuz you mentioned terms like "applications, jad files & download links", which were confusing. You also speak of downloading & saving applications, but thats not what youre doing when you save a page. Its just the page saved & no downloading is done or application saved. Also, i said "saved in opera mini proprietary form", which means that opera mini transforms the saved page into its own special file type, .obml, which can generally only be created by and/or read by, opera mini.
