accessing toolbar from Mytouch Slide via keyboard

Last post by pixsmith: I don't seem to be able to access the toolbar (the ribbon at the bottom, where you can get to things likehistory, exit, settings, and so forth) from my MyTouch Slide using only the keyboard. In most instances in Opera, the arrow appears, I can move it with the trackpad, and hitting "Enter" will let me click on a link. This doesn't always work though on some sites -- hitting "enter" does nothing.

As I said, I also can't access at all any shortcuts or the toolbar via the keyboard at all. Is this the expected behavior, or am I missing something?

My touchscreen is dead in the water (thanks for bad design, HTC!) and the track pad works, but the "activate" button when it is pressed is a victim of the same design issue.
