hello. If one installs Opera Mobile 8.65 on a previous Windows Mobile or Symbian S60 device he will obviously see why OM v12 is drastically worst and continues to be worst and worst at each new version.
There is no advanced settings like before and to bad the default settings are not efficient.
Opera is very memory hungry for nothing.
The devs has worked only on the f*cking apparence and left away the features
Why do you want to work on the apparence whereas the final user only want to see Internet -read simple and fast a piece of text- on his mobile phone? Who cares of all type of transitions and quality if the final software is not usefull to complete it's aim?
YES! I just want to be able to read a news without having to scroll in all directions.
NO! I don't want Opera to eat 50mb on my phone when I have just opened it with no page or anything.
NO! I don't care about appearance if it slows down the software 2x down.
YES! Settings do exists. You want a power users to read important info quick and in the same time a generic guy to impress his friends with useless things? Settings are here for to join those two sets.
And YES! I'm a Opera fan since 2006 (just watch the date of my registration) and YES! I will leave your browser if you move in such simplicity. The general public is lucrative but not at all as loyal as power users!
