can't open opera mini..

Last post by Nowurtalkin: Currently cannot open Opera Mini. Get only a black screen. That's right now. Earlier today, it opened but text/single column was all messed up, basically unusable. Got the black screen a few other time last few days as well. What's the problem?

I don't know to what degree, if any, the earlier reports (by other ppl) of text/single column view issues (which I also experienced), plus the earlier reports of server/non connect issues (I believe in mobile, not mini..?), might have to do w/my earlier inability to open mini (only a black screen), which I've also seen similar reports of that too, recently, but after not being able to get anything but the black screen all day, and wasn't seeing any commensurate uproar in the forums, I decided that maybe something got corrupted w/my mini installation. Rebooting did not effect any change, so I did a force close & sure enuff, that took care of the issue & now it's working again.

I thought I should post this, as no doubt some have run into same deal & not known that the cure could be via force close.

Also, does anyone know if there's a bug or a specific reason for this occurring?
